As some of you know, I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in September of 2020. I am pleased to announce that the past 9 months of chemotherapy treatment have, apparently yielded some positive results. It has been so positive that, back in September, the condition was considered “treatable, but not curable,” with only chemotherapy as a form of treatment. Now, it seems, surgery is a possibility to help. SO, while I had planned to open up the Auction Hall in late June (as Covid seems to be diminishing!), I am scheduled for several surgeries this summer, starting in the beginning of June. Which, of course, will put the opening back up of the Auction Hall off for several more weeks. I am still conducting ONLINE ONLY AUCTIONS and will continue to do so during this period of treatment. But, at least for now, live personal property auctions at the Auction Hall will be put on hold for a while longer. I miss our Friday night get-togethers more than you know and look forward to a time very soon when we can all gather in Joelton and have a great time at a LIVE AUCTION!
